Siemens Digital Industries Software社は2021年6月29日、自動運転車両の試験・開発用の物理ベース解析プラットフォームの最新版となる「Simcenter Prescan 2021.2」をリリースした。Simcenter Prescan 2021.2では、Simcenter Prescan C++にてUnreal Physics-Based Cameraが導入され、物理に基づくカメラを通じた写実的イメージを作成することが可能になっている。Simcenter Amesimにて設定済みの2Dダイナミクスモデルが利用可能になり、Simcenter Prescanに統合されたことで容易に現実的な車両ダイナミクスを追加することが可能になっている。そのほか新しいSimcenter PrescanアセットとしてFAW Jiefang J6MおよびJohn Deere 8400rが追加されるなど、さまざまなアップデートが適用されている。
